Dr. Sahil Baghla is the Founder & CEO of EH1-Infotech Cybersecurity Pvt. With over 15 years of experience, he advises organizations on strengthening digital infrastructure and protecting long-term trust.
His core expertise includes Website Security, Penetration Testing, and Cyber Risk Assessments. His consulting has helped startups and mid-sized businesses prevent ransomware attacks, meet ISO compliance, and protect business continuity across 55+ global projects. He hails from Fazilka, Punjab, and follows the mission of “safe surfing for society.” In 2015, he published first book titled Digital Cop (Amazon | Sample Read). 'Digital Cop' is a first-of-its-kind cybersecurity guide that uses real-life examples, screenshots, and simple step-by-step instructions to help people of all ages stay safe online — without requiring deep technical skills.
In 2023, he released second book, WordPress Security Secrets Revealed (Amazon | Sample Read), a practical guide designed to help secure over 800 million WordPress websites.
The 'WordPress Security Secrets Revealed' book offers actionable strategies for strengthening website security, including password hygiene, plugin safety, firewalls, backups, and vulnerability management — making it a trusted resource for both developers and cybersecurity professionals.
He holds a B.Tech in Information Technology (2011), MBA in IT (2018) from LPU, a Diploma in Cyber Law, a Business Management Certification from IIT Delhi, and a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) for his research on the thesis topic, "Main Determinant Factors of Cybercrime and How to Overcome It in Online Business". He is also a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and EC-Council Instructor (CEI) from EC-Council USA.
From 2011 to 2025, he served as an Independent Cybersecurity Consultant and vCISO for over 55 clients across the globe, delivering services through both online and in-person engagements. His core expertise includes Website Security, ISO 27001 Compliance, GDPR Readiness, Incident Response, and Penetration Testing. Project work spanned Malware Removal, Firewall Configuration, Redirect Issue Resolution, Plugin Optimization, AWS S3 and CloudFront Setup, and Comprehensive Server Hardening.
His early ventures included building cybersecurity awareness platforms like ethicalhacking1.com, hackingscams.com — both purely educational and non-commercial.
In April 2025, Dr. Sahil Baghla founded EH1-Infotech Cybersecurity Pvt. Ltd. — an entirely new entity, separate from any prior ventures, built to deliver structured, enterprise-grade cybersecurity services with trust and integrity.
The company offers a comprehensive suite of services, including Cyber Risk Assessments, vCISO Advisory, Penetration Testing (VAPT), Compliance Readiness (ISO, DPDP, GDPR, HIPAA), and Employee Cybersecurity Enablement Programs. Past Educational Firm:
From 2010 to 2020, Dr. Sahil Baghla founded and operated EH1-Infotech — a Cybersecurity Education Partnership Firm (now inactive), which conducted over 350 seminars and workshops across Punjab, Chandigarh, and several other regions of India. These sessions were organized for students, universities, police departments, and government officials. Additionally, in-house training at the Mohali office covered SEO, web development, web designing, ethical hacking, cybersecurity, networking, and digital marketing — achieving 100% student placement in both Indian and international companies.
Legal Note: This former partnership firm was purely educational in nature and has been inactive since August 2020. There is no legal, financial, ownership, or operational connection between this earlier firm and EH1-Infotech Cybersecurity Pvt. Ltd., which was incorporated in 2025 as a new DPIIT-recognized B2B cybersecurity startup with a distinct legal identity, structure, and business focus.
